Open any drawer or cupboard — you’re welcome to use everything you find, as long as you replace what you finish.

• Spices are on the shelf above the counter; oil and vinegar are in the drawer to the right of the stove.
• Bins and dishwasher tablets are under the sink.
• The stove is a gas stove and gets hot very fast — please stay close while something is on.
• The dishwasher is next to the sink.
• Coffee and tea things are in the cupboard above the coffee machine; help yourself.

• If you don’t know how to cook with copper / stainless steel / blue steel pans, please don’t use them. There’s one non-stick Hema pan you’re welcome to use.
• We keep our knives sharp — be careful if you’re not used to that.
